The Full Story

Hey! I'm Cady, Founder and Owner of Known & Noted!

I have always loved art and design since before I can remember I have been creative. I'm pretty sure I came out of the womb holding a pack of crayons! From coloring pictures for the fridge to art class in school, being in a career and technology course in commercial arts, and eventually taking my first job as a graphic designer right out of high school. I have always loved to be creative and felt my most true and happiest self when doing so!

My whole life I have been told I am a good gift giver. People find it hard to pick the perfect gift for someone. I would think about this compliment a lot, why am I so good at gifting? What entails a "Good Gift" and how do you know what someone likes? What do you receive and feel loved and excited about?

I love the saying "to be loved is to be seen" and from all of this I came to the conclusion that all you need to give, say, or create, to find the feeling that makes you say, "Wow, that made me feel so good" and simply lights you up for the day.

Is to Know that person, truly and honestly know them, and to note that you do!

So came the question of: "How do I make something I'm good at, fit with something I have so much passion and love for?"

Thus Known & Noted was born.

A little about me!

I am currently 20 years old, living with my boyfriend Asher, and our fur baby Kuzco, in our apartment. I am a creative, Type A Virgo. My favorite color is green (Specifically sage green) my favorite food is sushi and my favorite drink recently has been white cranberry juice! I love music and played multiple instruments including marching bass drum, viola, marimba and vibraphone! Obviously art is one of my hobbies, but I also LOVE to read, game, crochet & cook!

Asher and I moved in together about 6 months after I graduated high school. this year will be our 3 year anniversary! When I told him I wanted to try to make this work, he said "I believe in you, and I want you to do whatever it takes to make this work!" and has been my biggest support since! From all of the Michaels trips, moving big boxes, Crash outs asking myself if I was making a huge mistake, he was my rock through it all! Family has always been at the core of who I am, and the reason why I am so driven, I couldn't have asked for a better support in him, my parents, siblings, and my great grandmother! Every day I wish I could show her how far I have come, and how much farther I can run!
